It has been really beautiful here in Sac but I have a feeling we are going to catch it next week. Hope I don't catch it like I did a few years back. Got a feeling it is going to be a really soggy winter.

I'm closer to Dallas, but we went from 100's to 50's as a daytime temp today. The last time there was such a low for this area was in 1925. Usually it's 80's or so.

Balcony??? WOW! We had six inches of snow over night in Boulder; that is a true early record for my decade here! Did we bypass Autumn? What states are also getting slammed w/ signs of an early winter? Late Summers? Looks like we might need to buckle up, this winter is looking possibly treacherous here! Good thing I happen to love winter; I know many of you loathe it ...
Well, it also stayed cold enough that virtually ALL the snow remains on my balcony; although the streets are clear since yesterday ... but that's only due to the salting of roads. The ground cover is near melted also, but still an inch or so. Have NEVER seen Boulder acquire this kinda snow while many trees' leaves have yet to golden and redden, much less drop their leaves off entirely ... Winter is lookin' a bit mischievous this year ...
