I was in your situation. Married too young. My oldest was only 7, but she said she was glad it was over. She said you never talked in front of us kids, but Daddy was never home. I stayed about 4 yrs too long. Eventually, the counseling doesn't work, the arguing starts. Better to be divorced and make sure you get joint custody of the kids. One thing is to stay in touch with them, never make a promise you can't keep and don't try to buy their love. Mine are in their 30's now and have good relationships with both their Dad and I. Get out before the situation reaches a bad point. We sat down and talked about it and found out we both felt the same way. Never know, she may want out too. |

its hard for the kids when you get divorced but ive found that its much
easier on them emotionally when the fighting stops no matter if you stay married or not. |
