After 25 years, that kinda takes the hope for anyone looking to find a true mate and live out the rest of their years. If you couldn't find it in 25 years of marriage, you definitely aren't going to find it here.

And you are definitely wrong as to why we are all here. But then again, I don't have to try so hard to find someone. Just saying....

Utter Rubbish. Marriage is no cure all that just happens to incorporate some intangible called love.
Your bitterness is a shining example of how not to use this site. Mendy2 is looking to find someone to love her and in return to love. How dare you sit in such a judgement seat that would deny anyone that opportunity.

The secret here is to not try at all! Simply be yourself, stay in the forums and have fun....and allow it to happen when it is supposed to. I have been here little more than a year, met people, had fun, gained tons of new friends and pretty much gave up on the love connection....and right in the middle of all my fun...he appeared. Just relax and get to know everyone, let everyone get to know you and don't expect anything...it will happen, and when it does, it will be worth the wait....Mr Awesome is out there somewhere.

Well hopefully most people are here to find someone to at least spend time with. I'd hate to think that everyone in my area is here because they wanted to make sure no one else uses their screen name on any site across the web.

But then again everyone that fits my strictest search are all 21 and I'm 27 and maybe they think I'm a perv for saying "hi"

Not sure why I'm still here, hopefully thinking I guess. Cool people around here though, even if the dating aspect didn't work out.

I might soon disappear from this site, but not because i found someone.
I might check in like once a week or less. Maybe never.

To the OP.....I would imagine your persistence in trying to keep a marriage going in 25 years will do you nicely when you meet that great man who's going to come into your life next. Have faith!

Amazing...some people seem to show up just to display their bitterness, judgmental nature and plain ole mean-spiritedness. They can't stand someone having an opinion that they don't agree with.
