Well I had the bad experience with the marriage. I have only dated twice in the 8 years and they weren't bad experiences per say. They were both very nice guys. With the last one, I learned a lot about me, which was good.

There is nothing wrong with being single. Gets a little lonely but it is nice to be able just to do whatever in the hell I want to do. I wouldn't mind going on a date. Just makes me extremely nervous..... 
I think that is my biggest worry. Not about dating, but if the dating were to become serious. I really like being alone, most of the time. I like the freedom, too. I like my own cooking. I like my own schedule. I have become very comfortable being by myself. Is that what makes you nervous, jeff? Not the idea of a date, but the "what's next?" part, if you really like her? |

If it has been awhile, it could just be the awkward feeling we ALL get. I know, after my divorce was over and I started dating, it felt weird, like something only kids do. Here I was, 40yrs old going out on a "date." Something just kind of odd about that. |
