I'm planning on going to a couple festivals this weekend. Sure would be nice if the weather cooperated.
We have an Oktoberfest here in Lansing, that I've wanted to go to for the last few years, but it has never worked out. Gotta date and everything this year, but the weather doesn't look so great. Guess I should just be glad I'm going and bundle up! |

I don't know. His advice seems to be more along the lines of getting a woman into the sack. I haven't given up on the thought that someday I might actually meet someone I would like to spend the rest of my life with. Then again, it HAS been awhile.

Yeah, you're probably right. It's been a few months since I have gone out on a real date. This particular woman has met all the initial criteria, tho. She has a job, a house, a car and a good sense of humor. She takes care of herself. She has a good heart, from what I've seen. Best of all, she asked me.

I have heard that from quite a few people. Not sure if I'm there yet. But then again, it took me 16years of pounding my head into a wall before I filed for a divorce. I'm stubborn (and stupid) that way. Guess I haven't had enough bad experiences with dating yet.

There is nothing wrong with being single. Gets a little lonely but it is nice to be able just to do whatever in the hell I want to do. I wouldn't mind going on a date. Just makes me extremely nervous.....
