I would not date her but that is me, your you do what you think is right and live with the consequences good or bad. Your old enough to know by now that unless you say the same thing that woman do you will always be wrong to their eyes. That is what happens when you generalize people, lots are like that lots are not, until i know the person I usually try to not put them in one basket. |

I did like most people did here I generalized, She's 19 pregnant so immature doesn't know what she's doing so on and so on, she probably is or she might not be nobody knows her but they all have their predetermine idea of who she is. Not because I was stupid at 19 that all the 19 years old are stupid. |

The idea that "everyone else does it -- so I will too" reminds me of what my Dad always said. "If so-and-so shot himself in the foot, would you want to also?" 
This is also a common pathology with society in general. I am an intern for a criminal attorney and I can't believe how many idiots use the defense, "I see everyone do this/that." So? that makes it legal? 
I hate saying it, but as a whole -- not individually -- society is losing the battle of common sense and intelligence.

My point is that I know woman who are like that so by saying "If you don't agree with woman you will always be wrong" is true but if I wanted to be true to what i know i would have to have said I also know lots of woman who are not like that. When a woman says men are pigs after one hurts her its the same thing she is right for that man but wrong for all men. I did it on purpose to include all woman on my knowledge of how a few act. |

I see the two as being opposite though. I perceive common sense as something you are born with and intelligence is gained from either formal education or from work experience. After thinking about my reply, however, I am changing my mind to believe that both common sense and intelligence can be a natural characteristic but each can also be learned from school, work, or hard-knocks. It's definately not a black and white theory.

Then you have stated a truism that affects you and you have not made a general statement about all women.
