hows the new job going Jan? After three 12 hour shifts I was a zombie last nite, which is why I didn't get on here. I was asleep before 9pm. and had to nap again this pm.... but I see hope in my future....I think I will weather the transition OK. Thanks for asking, Tim How is your dad? I hope it goes well for him. The plan is rehab, then home, right? My father had surgery this morning. I saw him before he went in. Today he was lucid, which doesn't happen every day... but he insists that he can't walk without 2 people helping him get up.... My mission (should I choose to accept it) is to convince him that he can do it with one person helping him. He just doesn't realize that it is the difference between going home to assisted living...where his friends are...and going ELSEWHERE !

All this talk of food is making me hungry 
Well, if we lived closer to Viv .............. This weekend would be a good time to be here....I'm baking breads, deserts, the works! 
Hey!!! I already applied for that job.
But will there be enough food and ice cream?????? Yes, there will be....we have grocery stores, duh!! Are they like the big warehouse type grocery stores? lol we have all sizes!! |

Hey Tim, Rob and Wayne...I'll cook for ya'll when you can make it!! Obviously you have your favorites, Vivian... That was a closed invitation. No use telling you that I love gumbo, and would think I had died and gone to heaven if I were offered BBQ venison.... Oh well.... 
Jan...now don't go being a cry baby!!! If you'll read the posts...I told Wayne to bring the whole gang....that includes you too!
Sure thing....Just throw in a keg of beer and a porta potty and we'll be fine.
Don't laugh, Silver... I can make it work... Just need MUNCHIES to go with the beer.
