The little possum stares ahead,
With no grisly necks to bite. She makes a pie just like her bed, With minnows, she is a sight! Her ultimate goal, is to make friends, She is quick to say. In the best possum fashion she just grins, On Mingle she is here to stay. |

Pigs and possums - who'd have thunk
That they could make amends. O'er BBQ and Texas Red They've learned to be good friends. And so the possum grins a bit At meals she cooked in past. Cuz tasty nibbles over beans Are tastes who's memories last. |

Little Possum swings her feet
In tune with the radio's glow. She smells a pie filled with meat, And knows what's outside isn't snow. |

Mendy Mendy has got the hots!
So much more fun than the nots. We are here because we are single. But if we were there, boy would we mingle! The shoe would tap! Just like a rat! Eating a new piece of cheese. But when the smoke clears, And after all the beers, I'll bet it's time for "more please." |

A flying pig is such a strange sight
Makes me wonder about his plight for a pig he seems nice and clean I hope my poem doesn't turn him green |
|
|
|
I don't worry about the color green,
Unless it's mold, it won't make me sick. Your smile however, could be a beam, (Do you have some pie beaters to lick?) Pigs actually make awesome friends, (unless you hog the pie!) But otherwise easy to make amends, Pigs try hard not to make you cry!! |

you are a pig
and one of a kind you'll find a woman in due time |
|

If my pig friend gets a woman, then I want a man!
My life is to lonely without a mate in the plan Oh, I digress lol, this poems about you I'd like to wish you luck at that new lodge, it's true. Welcome to the neighborhood! Are you going to roast a pig? Well.. that's not a good idea I guess unless he's not too big! And hey, none with wings of metal... that thought just came to me- Pigs with metal wings, aren't for roasting, now way! No sir re! ![]() ![]() ![]() |

And there is my happy friend Che_
Could she be wearing a new knee? Will she be running (We'll have to see), (I wonder what she does when she has to pee?) In some things she is reliable as a tree, (I think the smile is directed at me.) To have a little wine and maybe some Bre, (The best part of her smile is that it's free) |

A thimble of toddy warms us up ilke a roast
To your shoveling piles of snow we do toast! The older I get the less missing I do Of snowboots and puddles and shoveling, too! Born in Ohio, yet I can attest That living is nicer when done in the west. But then I discovered that best gets much better 'Cause Texas is friendly (though oftentimes wetter!) So throw in the shovel, a scarf and the boot And gather your household, the jewels and the loot. And leave that cold stead for a moment in time, If you can't come for real, then come visit in mind. |
