What happens when you been emailing a person and talking to them on the phone. Then when you meet them in person you cringe at the thought of them touching you and God for bid if they kissed you. What happens then---tell them nicely---Good bye

been there...for some reason it has happened to me a few times.
I just let the date go nicely and pull out the friend card after. It seems the easiest way without seeming like a jerk. |

What happens when you been emailing a person and talking to them on the phone. Then when you meet them in person you cringe at the thought of them touching you and God for bid if they kissed you. What happens then---tell them nicely---Good bye Well hopefully if you are not up for it they would not touch you or kiss you in a populated public place which is always smart for first meetings. If I am getting a negative vibe on someone that I have met on line I just don't encourage them to think I am going to see them again and excuse myself at the first opportunity. Then as soon as I get home I email them "Thank you for making the effort to meet but I do not think we are a good match. Good luck in your search." I don't take calls and I don't open future emails if I happen to get any. This is the biggest reason I don't get really friendly in pre-date emails or phone conversations. Once you meet and get a first impression then you can advance the friendship before actual dateing. |

You actually stayed long enough for him to get a chance to touch you?

Look at your cell phone and say you have an emergency and have to go. I mean this may be an untruth but how can you say "the thought of touching you makes me sick". That would be kinda of mean.

No touching for me on first meeting...sorry, not me...and I have to tell him that before I meet him so he can make a decision to meet me or not.. end of the story...
