Cats don't catch the vermin! They get the birds! Here's an article with another reason why it is a great idea to keep kitty inside and purring happily chasing one of those excellent home made toys - like the ever popular string and paper wad!

My dad wanted the cats to go after the rodents and squirrels. But cats either hunt or do not hunt. And if they hunt, you can't get them to hunt only certain critters. My folks have decided not to have anymore cats now. My dad is tired of them going after the birds.

ours were just vicious with the laser pointer and plastic milk rings!!

now they are just lap warmers!
