It a Riddle?

I don't want you to understand in the first place.
A understanding one on one?

Read your own words!

Ozymandius
by: Percy Bysshe Shelley

I met a traveler from an antique land
Who said: "Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert... Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk a shattered visage lies, whose frown,
And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them and the heart that fed;
And on the pedestal these words appear:
My name is Ozymandius, King of Kings,
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away.

Huggs an Kiss to you Sweet Heart for your Words.

Thank You,many( Wishes to YOU).

For Understanding!

Well, it hurts my head to read that drivel. Really.. like she tryin to say people dont use the forums enough? That's the naturally-selective-behavior of forums.

If this drivel is a riddle as you say, move it along to the poetry section of the forums.

that was kinda asinine

is it given to you to be the judge of worthiness of forum posters?

Has nothing to do with judgment. Has everything to do with organization. lol

I'm not the only one to be lost in this thread. It appears to be a personal convo between 2 people for the most part, and if she expects it to put meaning out there and its some sort of poetry, there IS a forum section where this thread could go over a lot better and bring in much more anticipated responses than general discussion, no?

So if that was done, I wouldn't have to read things that make my head hurt, lol.. and SHE would get the responses she expects. (i think).

No? It's like telling a butcher not to advertise his products to a vegetarian.

Like it or not,That's Mehappy

Hope you shall join in with the New pictures.

That is LIFEflowerforyou

Some will show that is ,
have you in the past,

But we seek new comers,

As we don't feel comfortable, with some on the forms,an your opinion count, some do have hearts,an some are looking for a opinion.

Some have even given to many points (in the Forums)only to be shot down, never to come back.

To the ones that post the Most?

You seem to be in High standing?

What makes you to be the Most???

For those who have an open mind as to understand the meaning, even if not understanding the words. Also, to not heed constraints of the norm, but have peace to express freely when and where the heart feels the need.flowerforyou

Those who do not understand, at times, get angry in place of the unknown.

'Forgiveness is a act of love. As I forgive, I release negative energy that may manifest as resentment or anger. I open the way for something positive to happen. If I feel wronged or annoyed, I release the impulse to judge. The lines of communication remains open, and understanding flows freely. Relationships with others flourish when I act with compassion and easily forgive. I can relate to others in harmonious ways. I exercise the same forgiving attitude toward myself. If I have erred, I learn from it and move on. I draw from the Reservoir of love within me to give and receive forgiveness.'

I have a relatively open mind, but I still do not understand the meaning OR the words. frustrated But mine is not to question why...if the OP wishes to express herself, it is not my job nor intention to prevent it.

I hope you weren't offended, I didn't mean that to be directed at anyone, was just kind of an opinion in general. Kind of like a joke or story that may seem obvious to some, but others just may not get. It may either click or not. I didn't really get it until like the fourth time I read it. flowerforyou

It's not a bad thing to not understand, however, to call it drivel is neither fair nor kind.

I can't get it when words are misspelled and punctuation is horribly out of place. Sorry.

The very definition of drivel is:

Nonsense, Senseless Talk, or A Worthless Message.
I find this to be all 3. Until someone enlightens me, it'll continue to be so.

I'm not being unkind or unfair. I'm being bluntly honest.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. However, the distinction of such a label is subjective to each individual reading it. Granted, spelling, grammar, and such are a little off, but we are not here to judge each other. Also, the intended idea and delivery of content is in line with many of the great (and not so great) poets, the words/language may not be of a layman type, but most can follow and understand, or at least have a general picture of what the author is trying to say. If one does not have an interest in such avenues of literature, then they certainly don't have to read it.

which is why... there is a forum section (poetry) which suits this kind of sutff, right? LOL anyway I'm going to get out of this thread and just watch from a back-seat. Although it may seem like nonsense to me, I'm beginning to enjoy reading it as it's... just weird. Kinda like me.

Exactly...everything doesn't have to have a direct, specific, or even clear message, some things can be just random, personal thoughts that may only make sense to the one writing them. Just like artwork, it might only draw acceptance or even attention from a few, but that doesn't minimize the heart and emotion that went into it.

Absolutely correct, at times people post in the wrong section, whether by accident or uncertainty, the mods usually move it at some point.

...not weird...just strong in opinion, and kind of rough in delivery, but that's what this place is for...everyone to speak their mind.

Cool car by the way.
