Maybe they're trying to convert your cat but was unsuccessful...and now finally give up and ignore your baby....
You may have a valid point there, get your cat to show what a sinner he is and wait to see if they try to convert him.

Sorry your neighbors are treating you poorly. And now somewhat your pet. You might want to be careful to keep him/her home where it is safe. People who are so shallow to justify their creepy behavior are capable of taking it out on your pet. I'm with Pacific here on this. People who have gone over the edge with their religion are pretty self-righteous and can have muddled thinking. Voices might tell them to "save" your kitty from Satan or some garbage. I would keep kitty in the house.

Try a different angle.....
Just before they leave for church... go out in your front yard to take a leak.... beer in one hand...cigarette in the other...roll of tp under one arm...wearing a t-shirt that says "You think I'm a B$TCH? Wait till you meet my mom" When they go for thier car just yell... "HEY! MY CAT SAYS JESUS WANTS YOU TO LOVE US!" Then you will have a valid reason to get the silent treatment. |

What a scarey thought  but I guess this could happen. Yes keep the kitty inside.
I do not think these people are real Christians, if they were they would still be friendly towards you and also be praying for you. Wow if there is not enough already to worry about in life!!!

They're Mormons. I have worked with many Mormons (quite a few in AZ) all of them have been very nice people and never talk about religion. All kinds of conversations and many different subjects but not religion. I find them to be freindly and always willing to help you. Maybe things are different in Utah. |

I have many good neighbors..This is a really young couple that just started going back to church.. last summer they were in my back yard drinking beers. Must be experiencing guilt when they look at me.. But my poor kitty...
