How is it that no matter how many friends you have it still seems like life is empty unless you have someone to share it with?

How is it that no matter how many friends you have it still seems like life is empty unless you have someone to share it with? I know exactly what you are talking about. I went thru that too, many years ago. For me though it was not four months but five years. Yes I had friends and I dated, but something was missing. To fill the emptiness you will need to find someone to share your life with. You answered your own question. |

Friends can be many, true friends are rare.
if you can be friend with yourself your never alone even if it can be boring sometimes by yourself at least it's not empty. |

If you just wanted to "share your life with someone" you could hang out with your friends and be happy. I'm pretty sure friends share life, right? They go to movies and clubs or dinner, or whatever? So perhaps you just like dating, or touching, or having sex, or whatever it is people in relationships do? Like another poster suggested, just go find another girlfriend. I've heard lots of women lament about not having anyone to "share life with" either, so it shouldn't be a big deal. Good luck with that.
