Ohhhh heck I had to come back to this thread to see if the dinner worked out....
 All I can say is shut the door don't text her don't call her forget her name......she is not worth the energy as Kyle said..... If she is shy, she may want to go then gets scared when it is about to happen. Maybe you should make plans with a group first, before a one-to-one date. I was very shy when younger and did cancel because of it...not to be mean or hurt anyone's feelings. Good luck!
