i havent really followed the situation, so what has he done to piss off most of the country. please tell me cause i see people slagging him off on here and this has really been annoying me

He hasn't pi$$ed off most of the country. The ones that don't like him are just getting louder.

Some people don't like him because he is a Democrat and they're Republican. Some people don't like him because he's black. There's various reasons.

He did win the popular vote and the electoral vote. So....more people like him then don't.

Basically no matter who gets elected president,the opposition says a bunch of crazy stuff about them

so really the only ones that dont like him are racists. is that what you are trying to say

Hi there. I lived in the United States for ten years and they are certainly a strange conglomerate of peoples, in my opinion. Barak Obama was probably elected on the basis that the only other alternative was John Mcain, who was seen as being to old and something of an anachronism from the Vietnam era. What Pres. Obama has done to upset so many is to have a concern for the greater majority on working class Americans and their general welfare. This does not sit well with middle class America and the ideals of capitalism. The health care reforms to which Pres. Obama subscribes and is desperately trying to teach that middle class entrenched group, is the backbone of much of the American economy. Health care is or rather may be seen to be, one of the largest industries in the US and because the HMO's and research organisations do not desire to see their profit margins shrinkut , the leadership of these industries are doing all that they can to stir the masses to action based on fear of socialism. That is an abridged opinion but I believe that it is part of the greater issue of the Tall Poppy syndrome. Barak Obama is the right choice for a changing America and it isd time that the American public woke up to that.
