Hummm well just seen this post. There is no reason one should bring up
the race issue with someone that is only saying Hi. Actually if you
don't date outsided of your race there are other ways turn one down and
not bring up the race issue. We are all special in our own ways. Color
is only skin deep it is what is beneath the skin that matters. And yes
this is from someone that has always dating within my race and only
beacause those have only been the ones I have been attractive too. I
don't have a problem at all what color my friends are or who they date
you have to see the person for whom they are.

I may have a problem, as I have never dated a black guy ( none have
asked me) I think this is in some ways reflects the views of some of the
Black men in the UK, if you are known to have dated a white man then
somehow you are seen as soiled. I do not uderstand this concept as I am
from a background that has a myriad of intertwined races, mum is of
East Indian descent.This thread started out as my opinion on a negative
subject,but has tured out quite an interesting current affairs topic.
Folks keep your views coming, I may be able to use it in my thesis at
the end of my University studies.Thanks for all who have added
