AMEN, poison! Lest we never forget..

My dad was Army in WWII. Two brothers were Marines and in Vietnam. One
did not come home. My son was Army and served in Iraq. I am very proud
of all of them and all the men and women who serve our country.

I am and will always be eternally grateful for all of the many
sacrifices that you and every serviceman, and woman has so unselfishly
given of themselves to give us the freedoms that we sometimes take for
granted.

Prayer for our soldiers everyday. They surely need it and I have the
utmost respect for them and what they are doing. I may not agree with
some on why they are there, but they are and the facts are that they
deserve our love and support. God Bless them.

Well, you all know my view on this and how I do stand. There is NO ONE
IN THIS WORLD! that will change my mind on supporting our TROOPS they
deserve all the RESPECT in this world. We should support our TROOPS
those that have gave there lives as well as the ones here today that are
fighting. My Dad served in the Korean War 2 terms he was in the Army and
was very proud to be a soldier. His LOVE FOR NOT ONLY THIS COUNTRY BUT
THE FLAG was not really understood till he had passed away and I started
doing the family tree.

My grandfather came to the good ole USA in 1906 as a very young boy. My
Dad was the first of the SCHMIDT FAMILY that had joined the military. My
family came here after they were able to get into Russia from Germany.
You see my Dad was honored to serve this Country that gave our family
its freedom from all the bad things going on in Germany. His only wish
was to be buried close to the American Flag! Which I will say he fully
got that he is less than 50 feet of one Aweful BEUTIFUL FLAG that flys
for this country 365 days of the year.

So yess

GOOD BLESS OUR TROOPS

I spent time in the Army.. Thank you and I remember friends I have
lost...

I pray for the ones in the Big Sand box as well....

Lest We Forget
These men and women

Soldiers all;

They served us proud

Their duty call.

They gave their lives

For us to be

Safe from harm

And living free.

Don't ignore peace;
