Hugh Hefner files for divorce in LA
September 9, 2009 LOS ANGELES-After more than a decade of separation, Hugh Hefner is filing for divorce from his wife and former Playmate, Kimberly. Court records in Los Angeles show Hefner filed for divorce on Friday. He is asking a judge to order him to pay Kimberly Conrad Hefner $20,000 a month in spousal support. The records state that’s half of the $40,000 a month that the Playboy founder has been paying her since they separated in 1998. The couple was married in 1989, the same year Kimberly Hefner was named Playmate of the Year. She sued Hefner last month, claiming he owes her $4 million under their prenuptial agreement and for proceeds from the sale of home she is living in. Hefner states in court filings that he has paid almost $12 million to his wife and for her home since their separation. |

Now I wonder what on earth came between two such dedicated people. Certainly could not have been infidelity, outside influences, lack of morals, lack of focus on one another.

Per year she was paid 480,000.
12 X 40,000 How much do you think H. Hefner makes per yr??? I really have no idea. |

He disclosed his monthly earnings an expenditures with the divorce papers. Only reason he's finally divorcin her is so that he doesn't have to pay so much to her. I seriously don't understand why men across the globe idolize this man. Yes, he's got lots of money. Yes, he's got beautiful women around him constantly. But do u really think those beautiful women would honestly have anything to do with him if it wasn't for the money or their chance at fame?

He is still going and has 43 million to play with |

Hell, for $20 Grand a month, I'll divorce him to!!
Mehh, to each his own. Thankfully I ain't a bimbo cause I just don't see the attraction
but there is some kind of attraction. it cant be just all about the money. He's been that way since the 50's when he was a younger man
I honestly don't see where he's attractive an the 'player' thing is a total turn off for me but jmo
and I respect that and dont blame you
I was just saying that he must have some kind of charisma or something cause there are lots of guys who have just as much money but dont have what he has. fer instance, all the top movie stars and top atheletes are fallin over each other for invitations to the Playboy Mansion and it's been that way for fifty years I was just reading that they are making a movie of his life and Robert Downey Jr is gonna play Hef |

Frank, Dean, etc etc. Robert Downey Jr is a good choice to play him in a movie. I bet he would do a fantastic job with the role. I'd go see the movie. |

yeah his story is kinda interesting
he started with nothing but an idea. his first playmate was his typist and he faced lots of opposition over obscenity laws and such but what he did that made Playboy into an empire was to create not just a girlie mag. there were dozens of those but he projected a image of culture and chic and all the articles and interviews reinforced that image people like Dr Henry Kissinger and Presdident Jimmy Carter were interviewed by Playboy nowadays internet porn has overtaken Playboy and they are consideed to be pretty tame now. But in the 70's and 80's it was a billion dollar empire |

Personally I don't care how others choose to live their lives. He isn't doing anything illegal and if he and his females are happy, why would it be my business to impose my morality on him, it isn't. I say if he dies happy and satisfied with his life then he has accomplished what we all should be striving for. |

I might have been the only one doing it for real....lol |
