My son told me once last year... Mommy I ate myself today. ???? He explains... I had pumpkin pie, you always call me pumpkin pie... Boy was I relieved. Whenever people call me just to say hello and share something funny, I am touched. They don't need anything, don't want anything, they just want to connect and laugh. |

My best friend and I roomed together in college. He was there when I got the call that my parents were divorcing. I broke down. And he held me. Was one of the most selfless things anybody has ever done for me..... no thoughts about whether it might not be manly or how it might be perceived. It was just the only thing he could do.
He's still my best friend today. |

My best friend and I roomed together in college. He was there when I got the call that my parents were divorcing. I broke down. And he held me. Was one of the most selfless things anybody has ever done for me..... no thoughts about whether it might not be manly or how it might be perceived. It was just the only thing he could do. He's still my best friend today. Friend hugging is so underrrated. That's awesome. |

In early years of my medical school, my best friend used to accompany me to the public calling office just to convey the owner,"Sir, Sun will pay you next week for the calls he made". I used to call my ex GF.
The owner of PCO was a gem of a person too. |

Knowing that no matter what..My True family,mom dad sister,aunt,daughter,will always be there..for me.in way they can..to help me out,to pull me through..whatever..even when I dont want them to,or when I may not deserve it..I love them.& need them.and dont tell them near enough..And am so thankful they are here for me..I get angery sometimes.but hey there family..I love them reguardless...

My best friend is an amazing cook and BBQ’er. He is also a carnivore but he has always made special dishes, arrangements, etc when we go to parties or he has me over for dinner because I am a vegetarian. When we meet at restaurants, he will always tell me what’s on the menu -- before I even open it – of dishes I might like to order.
He always makes me feel special and takes care of my needs like no one ever has aside from my parents. 
I can’t help it; I have to post a pic. He’s been my heart for 16 years!  We spent the day wakeboarding and drinking beer so excuse the "drained" appearance.

Friends here at Mingle have taken the time to call or e-mail me since they found out I had some medical issues. It means more to me than they will ever, ever know. I aapreciate them and love them for the time that they spent just being there.
