Topic: Nice guys! | |

so true Myka.. Calleigh.. It'd be even nicer if the "listening, reading and getting it" actually transpired before posting in a "no more" nice guy thread, how nice they are... (((prncs))) It just really annoys me when men (and some women) go around acting like someone owes them a date or an email or some form of interaction, simply because they desire it and they consider themselves a nice person. I've emailed men and approached men and been rejected or ignored, and I think I'm a pretty decent person, but I don't feel entitled to anyone's attention. I think the "nice guys" are more arrogant than the so-called "bad boys" they're jealous of. |

why is it when you find someone your interested in and you say hi and they just blow you off. do you continue to be nice or blow them off too. i find it hard to be nice sometimes. but i do anyway. If you're interested in someone and they're not into you, you're supposed to leave them alone. How would you feel if it was reversed? Would you want someone you're not into still bothering you? Um, no. I have this girl that i'm just not interested in but she continues to provoke a relationship with me.. |

Just in a nice way that i'm not interested in her but it's not working haha... Should i but more firm about it? |

She's mistaking you being nice to her as interest, and thinks if she keeps trying, you'll change your mind. I'd just be firm and tell her I'm flattered, but no thanks. She needs to respect that. |

They finish last because they don't exist. That's like asking why the Easter Bunny doesn't get any dates What's nice to you? Is it the same thing that would be considered nice to someone else? What is NICE? Nice looking? Nice in bed? Nice to your kids? Can we please grow our vocabulary and find some other words besides nice? And can we please stop using as an excuse as to why we are not successful in the dating world? If you want to know the secret I will tell you... but you have to ACTUALLY LISTEN.... The secret is confidence, not being a "nice guy" or a "bad boy" as every man has a unique blend of both. The key is to find a woman who is compatible with your unique blend. The confidence part comes into play when you get shot down but don't give up because you are happy with who you are. If you don't like you then why should we? I like the word 'edible' in place of 'nice'...then I can say "look at that edible guy"... |

There's no need to tell anyone you're a nice guy. If you truly are a nice guy then it will be noticed after you've been noticed for being interesting, confident and fun to be around. But you're not going to get noticed by being a 'nice guy'. A complete social misfit can be a 'nice guy'.
When you demonstrate that you're a nice guy, after already sparking some interest, it's usually a good thing. |

Nice guys never get the dancing tacos so they turn mean...
Feed a nice guy once in a while would ya? Think of it as alms for the poor. |

I think too many people replace the word "dork" with "nice".
Maybe even "in the closet gay" with nice. I like nice. |
