there were roughnecks working the oilfield a hundred years before ya'll decided to use the name
roughnecks in arabia, roughnecks in Texas, roughnecks in Louisiana, roughnecks in Brazil, roughnecks in Africa how would I know that somebody decided to use it for something different? I was a roughneck for 20 years and it's offensive for someone to use it as a derogatory term |

I find it funny that you blame a generation/cultural gap considering I'm 24 and spent most of my life living in the hood...but whatever.
