This is in memory of one of THE finest people that was EVER on JSH or Mingle, Sheryl ( Nascar Cutie)She past away 2 years ago yesterday and was one of THE most loved person on this site!!! She had more courage than anyone I have ever known and was an insperation to all that knew her!!! I know U are in Heavan, Sheryl, rooting on your beloved Jeff Gordon!! WE MISS U!!!

Sheryl was beautiful inside and out. She battled Cancer for over a year and was on the up hill climb to have her life whisked away by a drunk driver.....This woman showed us courage that we did not have made us see how precious life really was.... This was a poem I wrote after her death the events of that day we did I will never forget the day we set off those balloons it was and amazing site. It was so windy I had to literally hold them tight as we were waiting for the wind to give us enough break so I could set them off. It was like God knew and all of a sudden the air became so still as I released them they shot off straight up then took off towards the west. It was not only and amazing site to see but a beautiful one at that....... Sheryl you have been missed but you will never be forgotten.........her greatest joy was nascar lived it, breathed it, dreamed it & always talked about it......... 
“Balloons in Flight” You see today I had a chore. Off I went to the store. Balloons I did buy. And watched as they floated to the sky. Pink , blue , purple and green. Even one that was aquamarine.. I was ready to encounter. This jester as I walked up to the counter. Twelve is what we counted out. For what I was going to do I had no doubt. Watching as they blew up each. Once they were done I did reach. As I grabbed the balloons. In my head started these tunes. My car is going to beat your car. You are for sure a star. A smile so bright. It will light up the night . In your heart you hold. One made of gold. Off we went Nikki & I and my grandbaby. As we arrived I promised not to be a crybaby. We walked up to the Big Gazebo and stood. Looking out over the lake made me feel good. High above over looking the trees and the lake. Thinking of the journey these balloons were fixing to take. The wind had started to blow. As we stood and overlooked this plateau. Kaitlynn asked granny why are you going to let them go? She had such a desire to know. I explained to her that a beautiful lady now had her wings. And was with God in heaven, soon we let go of the strings. It was truly a beautiful site. As we watched these balloons take flight. I whispered Sheryl I’m sending you hugs and kisses your way. I did not have the blessing to know Sheryl.. however, I do remember when she passed.. and how deeply many here (JSH/M2) loved her. There are many, including {{{{Mikey}}}}, that have grieved hard these past 2 yrs. My thoughts & prayers are with you
