No. I get frustrated at times, but I haven't given up.

I havent given up, but i feel right now is a great time for me personally to be single. From the time i was 19 just barely out of high school until this past april i have been in a commited relationship. I decided i need to take the time for me. But i would also like to make new friends and go out and have a good time.

Well I've only been rejected once
Didn't hurt nearly as much as I thought it would. ( thank god for friends at home) So I gave up really nothing to find myself in the arms of another where god wanted me to be! |

I took a break when my son was born, but now that he's almost 7 months old I figure it's time to get back out there. I'm not actively looking, but if someone shows up I'm not opposed to it.
But I know it'll be hard because a lot of guys aren't comfortable dating someone with kids. Oh well, their loss :) |

Although I'm beginning to wonder if I will ever find someone, I will never be able to completely give up.

yeah she kinda took what i feel. ive given up on looking, i mean its gotten me nothing but heartbreak, but i think that im trying to be more positive than i feel in my heart. i pretty much think that unless i get out of where im ate..ill be a single country boy with just me and my horses for a long time.

Have you given up on trying to "find someone" because of the amount of times you were rejected and you feel that it'll never work out or that you won't find someone?
Actually, for me, it was more the realization that the type of person who appeals to me, in a relationship sense, just doesn't exist anymore. I'm not about to go back to dealing with people like my ex-wife. I'd rather pack it in and spend the rest of my life alone and functional. |

i've given up...not because i've been rejected one to many times... but because the guys i have dated recently have been terrible... from drunks - to pulling a gun out on me- to hooking up with my best friend... i've given up on trying to find a decent guy.

I'll give up when I die. I may not try as hard sometimes, but I'm really content with where I'm at in mmy life. And bringing someone new into it could cause complications. Who knows tho if I meet someone and it seems like it has potential I'll give it a shot.

I did for quite a while. But it was mainly due to the fact that I had some things that I needed to work on. I'm pretty sure I'll eventually find someone who can appreciate me.
