There is nothing that is not as it should be....
and really, needs no 'character name' in the great 'play' of life.

I beg your pardon, Jess, but you sound as if your a member of the "Social Engineering firm" -- saying "No Names, please..." LOL!

Perhaps, Jane my views are slightly different..

I choose not to give away my personal power to those who may wish to do ill of others...(the social engineers)...by conjecturing what may or may not be happening.
I am not blind, nor ignorant, nor insensitive to the ways of humans....
but merely choose not to give any of the energy that I am blessed with, away to that which is a negative. * * * * *
Contributing to the essence/spirit of this planet in the manner with which it offers itself, is being reciprocal....that is where my energies best lie....not in contributing to the dis-connected energies of the human animus.

Great attitude, Jess: "I see no evil, I hear no evil, I speak no evil" -- from your perspective EVIL doesn't exist! God is good -- end of story...i.e. the happiest person is DEAF, BLIND, and MUTE !!! (and God-fearing, of course) -- A TRUE BELEIVER IN THE LAW OF ATTRACTION!!!

Perhaps, you don't wish to be aware of evil or hostility? Certaily, WHO DOES??? For all we know, all the conjecturing might in fact be just that -- CONJECTURE! In that case, I don't understand HOW CAN YOU EVEN STAND PREPOSTEROUS JB with her evil aliens out to conquer the world??? (or Is another dangerous idea (of mine) appear to exceed your level of tolerance???}

I that case, you should've saved the energy (that you're blessed with) and don't even bother posting your wise-a$$ comment -- "There is nothing that is not as it should be..." -- and continue keeping your head in the sand (like an austrige), i.e. I see no evil, I hear no evil, I speak no evil (I'M NOT EVEN AWARE OF ANY EVIL -- I JUST BLINDLY FOLLOW THE LAW OF ATTRACTION!!!) Good lack to you!

P.S. BEING POSITIVE DOESN'T MEAN being UNAWARE! ! !

Hahahaha.....to be unaware is to not acknowledge ?

.....to not acknowledge intentionally, must be to aware...and CHOOSE differently, perhaps?

Seriously, Jane.....I love what you type, as I do JB and James...

doesn't mean I agree...and as to god fearing?

Nope....any mythological figure designed to emmenate fear, and separation is so much bs propaganda to me...

the whole thing is a 'feel good' story designed to be used for OSTERICHES.

I see the poison...I feel the poison of our human madness...I hear the poison....doesn't mean I have to partake.

Of corse i question things. That is human nature. The spectrum on this subject is so vast that it has no explnation is all im saying. There are many points of view and there is no telling what could be so the only thing i question is the therys. Ones god that they beleive in takes enegery to beleive in it. The full force of the faith is enegery i guess, but the whole thing is based on the ideals of beleifs. There is an enegery that binds the cosmos together and that is what i choose to call god. Whithout that creating force, nothing would exzist. The idea of many gods stemms back to an age of the ancients. But the native americans, they beleived in sperits. Many things are so vast of human comprehesion because there are things that we wernt ment to know. But to have an opened mind and relize, we half to be inquizitive. The idea of wondering, was ment to be. The accounts of the bible says that ther are things that just happoned and that if u believe that they ixzist, they will. if u believe u can do something and set your mind to do it, it can be done. There are many things unexplainable in this realm of ixzistance but if we under stood it, we wouldent need a god. I tend to put my faith into the fact that it could be, and question what i think is impossible to be. But with the impossable comes the possable so i just keep wondering. I like it like that. To not know. But i have faith In things that could. Are we alone, naaaa i don think we are. And when i say god fearing, Look to the cosmos. The earth scientifically at one point was a ball of molton rock! Thats proven. There are stars that go super nova, thats proven. There are the exzistance of black holes, thats proven. I dont frar god by using the term "god fearing", but thats some scary enegery. I like this thread!!! Yall are smart!!!

...As I said, WHO DOES? ? ?
Nevertheless you did (as if attempting to belittle the whole discussion...) And, if I'm mistaken, then WHY DID YOU???

As I mentioned, you should've saved the energy....... -- especially since you don't seem to agree!

But your saying, "All is just the way it should be..", signifies your complete "disconnectedness"/detachment from the reality!!!* * * * * * * * * * * * *

In other words, God is required to explain our IGNORANCE? ? ?
So, the more we know, the less God we seem to rely upon? ? ?

Then, eventually, .......? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

There are just things we wernt ment to know. Not a force of gravity, a realm of ixzistance, and if we knew how it was created, we would be traveling the cosmos!

Could I be absent in my A B S E N C E....

or perhaps I was so busy being absent in my senses, I was incensed at my absentia...or was that the ab-science? One can never be too sure around here...

With regard to the original topic question "Is "GOD" energy?"

It seems to me to be a futile question since even science has no idea what energy is.

"energy" is just a made-up word to label something we don't truly understand. We could have just as easily labeled it "god". laugh

To ask if God is Energy the only thing that needs to be done is to define both of these concepts and then see if the definitions are the same.

If the definitions are the same then they are the same.

If the definitions are different they they are different.

No logical analysis of the question is even possible until something's actually been defined.

Without a definition for the words being considered it's meaningless to ask the question.

Of course for someone who takes a pantheistic view of the world the answer would need to be 'yes' because, by definition, a pantheist believes that all is god, therefore anything that exists is god.

The question then becomes, "Is energy all of God? Or is there more to God than just energy?" And of course, this then falls back to the original question of what is the definition of 'energy'?

We used to think that energy and matter were two different things. Now we know that they are on in the same 'stuff'.

So maybe God is just Stuff? bigsmile

I shoulda listened to the intuitive feature in me brain, but I never can guess when to or when not to.

If God is energy, can you prove that God exists? YES.

Can you define the energy ,pls ?

If God is some super natural being whom nobody has ever actually seen who is rumored to have created the universe and everything in it, can you prove that God exists?

NO!

So , then who do you think created all above - universe and everything in it ?

I don't think we can "prove" that some entity had a hand in creating everything, that'd be nice though wouldn't it?

We would have all our questions answered and would know without a doubt our species "place" in existence.

I think this universe was created from another one, like this:

Astronomy and Astral Pyhsics holds that the universe can end in several ways. One is that everything gets sucked into the numerous blackholes that will pervade the universe when all the stars finally die. These blackholes "evaporate" away (not sure why on this, sounds cool)and nothing is left. Really no room for a 'god' here.

On the other hand, ALL the matter and energy in the universe is compressed....until, and here's where my point comes inlaugh , it all explodes and 'creates' a new universe.

Is a "god" needed to give this little push? Is a "god" an energy form that can spark this new universe? MAYBE, MAYBE NOT

I can't ever know, can you?spock

This question is based on an assumption that “creation” must be attributed to a “who” as opposed to a “what”. That is to say, “creation” is a product of some anthropomorphic property or properties. Now there’s nothing intriniscally wrong with such an assumption. It is pretty much the basis of all religious. But science does not differentiate between a “who” and a “what”. In other words, the difference between a “person” and an “object” is only in the label, not in the essence.

But that’s really neither here nor there.

I think maybe the main difference between the scientific and religious viewpoints could be said to be that science assumes that “the universe and everything” was never “created”, but instead that “it always existed.”

Now since all of the universe is composed entirely of energy, then the source of everything in the universe is energy. And since energy can never be created or destroyed, energy is immortal. All of which could very easily lead one to conclude that God is indeed energy.
