Buttah, just remember one thing if u get a tatt make sure it's something u wanna be stuck with, something that means something to u. Gettin a tatt of something u think is 'kewl' may not be so kewl to u 10 yrs from now.

Have one tattoo for over 21 years.
I like the tattoo. My thoughts are, if you get a tat, make it something meaningful, or deep. Ive had 4 differet piercings as a teen. Now its just my ears. Lets see.. Cons,, everyone has them. They leave scars. Risk of appearing low class. They are truly not timeless. |

My opinion...for what it's worth: tattoos and piercings are a desecration of a temple designed to house the soul. Would you put grafitti on the Great Pyramids or dump orange dye over Niagra Falls? I'm just saying... I did not think of it that way, thanks for your post. I think of my body as a vessel, yes to "house to soul", but that is all. I don't associate it with the soul, just a piece of "soul luggage" if you will.

My first tattoo is 20 years old & I still love it.
Most of the rest of my tattoos are 15 years old then & my last tattoo is 6 years old.

Hi! I have never posted a message... but I can relate. I am going to be 50 this year and wanted to do something I always wanted to do, and havent. A tatto is what I have decided to do. So if you want one... go for it.

I'm just saying... The relief carvings in the pyramids had at one time been brightly painted. Same with the Greek temples and statues. And they do have lights that add color to Niagra Falls. Those arguments just don't work for me. |

I know, just like putting a man's name on your body! lol My cousin is a tatt artist, he did my first 2. He flat out refuses to put names other than kids or parents names on someone. It's known as the ultimate kiss of death to a relationship gettin a SO's name tatted on u.

i dont have any tats
but my daughter has a lotus flower on her back she has a bob marley on her leg freda on her arm a feather behind each ear i think thats all she has she has her nose perieced she used to have her eye brow perieced but that closed and she did her own belly button when she was a teen. never knew anything about that untill she was delivering her first child |
