Circa 1976 I was out at The Mad Hatter in the Hamptons (East Quogue actually) to see Rick Derringer and Johnny Winter was sitting at the bar. Well... Falling off his bar stool was more like it. what a hop head. Such a shame. He really was talented. I liked his brother too.
