Listen hon.. do this..

Dont go through all that...

Call your grocery store bakery, and ask them "do you have premade dough?"

They usually already have many balls of it premade for you to do as you wish, make calzonesss.. make stromboli.. make zeppolis..pizzaaaa..

This is what I do from time to time when my son wants a calzone, or stromboli, and dont want a mess.

Ask your baker how long you have to let it sit, and do this ahead of the date day.

Dont panic, if one doesnt have it, another will.. just call around.

xo

Hope the sex is good.

Earthy! He wants to prove himself. We have cavemanism working here. He wants to prove that he can make the best damn pizza in town! He needs to do that! (but don't forget Plan B)

im thinking.. if he wants to prove himself.. this might be the way to go.. avoiding disaster. PLUS.. dough.. the water makes the dough either way. Thats why Pennsylvania pretzels are said to be the best, and New York Pizza.

Yes ya wanna have good dough, not all are the same.. but seriously..

Just a way out. Usually, dough, is dough. Same ingredients.

you guys are helpful.

I went thru the thread and got it all.

I have a plan. I am going to dominate this pizza!

You have to understand I don't use the oven for anything. I just plain never cook.

So this is a big deal to me!

Thank you very much!

I think one of the biggest things you need to remember when working with dough: DO NOT OVERWORK IT!!!!!!!!!!!! If you overwork your dough, it becomes tough and tasteless, like eating cardboard. Blech, not an impressive thing laugh

No date. Game off.

Going to hit the lake a few hours away - leaving a couple hours .

I got the premade pizza dough at a papa murphys.

Everything was good to go - I mite do it on my own just to see.

Just updating - thanks!

laugh laugh laugh

I swear I don't mean to laugh, but it's just ironic...

My middle sis called me today, in a panic (she does NOT "REALLY" cook)...

"HOW DO I MAKE A HOMEMADE PIZZA....I GOT A DATE TONIGHT WHO LOVES PIZZA..."

I gave her the same receipe as I gave you...

Thank GOD she shuffled around getting all fluffed and tucked vs. following my cooking instructions. But, knowing her, it took longer to cook her hair than it would have the homemade pizza!

He bailed, of course.

Needless to say, she ended up...sitting all priss 'n' pretty...with a grocery store pre-made GREASY pepp and canned 'shroooom pizza tonight.

But, her toenails were beee-U-ti-FUL! ohwell laugh
