I know this thread isn't about Native American history specifically so, forgive me if this is off topic. But, I have been watching a series of dvds called 500 Nations about the indigenous people of North and Central America. It's a very interesting subject. Especially since we were never taught most of this history in school.
I highly recommend it for anyone interested in this subject. |

1/4 Cherokee
not sure which tribe my great great grandmother is from but i do know her and her family walked the Trail of Tears and they ended up settling in TX where she met and married my great great grandfather.they then moved up here to AR where they bought land and settled i'm trying to research her history more |

Mom's grandmother came from county Tipperary and grandfather came from county Kilkenny, Ireland. Dad's family also came from Ireland but I have to look it up more. One cousin was doing it but lost all his notes when his house burned down.

my mom is 1/2 spanish 1/2 cherokee, my father was 1/2 sicilian 1/2 mexican.Recently met his dad he had a spanish father and his mom my great grandmother was aztec. Thus equalling me, a vanilla gorilla

As are most European descendant settlers to australia...we're a mixed breed.
My parent's were immigrants...my mother from Cork, County Cork, Ireland....my father Scandinavian...from some immpossible to pronounce little village.. I view myself as native. to Earth. Although I have the weird quirks of european settler australians, blended with Indigenous behaviours, and outlook on life. |

I dont actually have any native blood in me
