Topic: Does Love Make You Strong? | |
---|---|
Does love make you strong or does it make you dependent? In my opinion it weakens you, but that can both be good and bad. Depends who you allow to see you weakened. |

love is what u make it In my opinion, love just is, there is nothing deliberate about it. |

Does love make you strong or does it make you dependent? I believe love makes you strong if it is with the right person. The right one, builds you up, does not attack or try to undermine you as a person. If you are with the wrong individual, love, (or one's perception of what they thought love was) may have the ability to make one weak, and to believe that they are not strong, not good enough, or undeserving of "real happiness" which can then cause them to believe they are unable to do anything about their situation. |

Does love make you strong or does it make you dependent? It only makes me more and more skeptical. |

Does love make you strong or does it make you dependent? i don't think being 'dependent' IS the opposite of strong, so i think love makes you both. there's nothing at all wrong, or negative, about needing your partner and depending on them for their love, support, encouragement, devotion, etc. |

Luke 6:35
35 But love your enemies, and do good and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High; for He is kind to the unthankful and evil. |

Yes, it's a quote from the New Testament of the Bible. No need to feel worried, sir.

You mean the Old Testament? Well, it's still necessary to see the foundation and origin of certain things. But I see your point. I speak with love in mind, so as to not get off topic. sorry
