(Hypothetical question, not happening to me.)Say if you're in love with someone but they're gay or lesbian,how would you deal with this?Knowing you could never be with them because of their orientation,would you tell them how you feel?

Had it happen to me once. I think he knew, but we kept it at a friendship level.

well for the record it's kinda freaky when it does happen yea, but can't ya get past that and be good friends? My gay friend is my bud..I trust him more than most of my female friends.

i don't think i could get to the point of being in love with someone and not know their sexual orientation. surely, there'd have to be at least some reciprocation on their part before the feelings progressed to that level.
