Topic: Double posts....why ?. | |
---|---|
This is the only site where I get double posts .
I wonder why . I like to post in forums but with double posts I just shy away and keep far away.....!. |

It's only happened to me a couple of times and was because I was impatient and clicked the button twice. Slow down your trigger finger!

It happens so often that I use this sign when editing the second post I edit the second one and then stick this
|

only happens on the laptop with me

it is more than likely mouse sensitivity
you get a post for each time you click the mouse button if things are running a bit slow a lot of people think hitting the post button again will speed it up no it makes a double post and hey it is a no cash cost site so enjoy |

Hi, tohyup. If you're making sure to click the 'Post' button only once, then I would suggest doing some computer housekeeping (emptying cache, deleting Mingle2 cookies and logging in again, etcetera).
As adj4u pointed out, we might be able to add an appropriate filter in order to prevent double posts in the future. |

That fact is it happens only here . It is somehow bothersome to me .

Sorry double posts.

Could you try slowing down your mouse speed? There are settings for it (not that I recall how to get to them, but I know there are). This may help your problem.
