In defense of the dark world of internet dating sites, I met my best friend online. But then again, the other 200 or so were absolutely psychotic. But then then again, Ones Ive met without the internet were psychotics too...Looking for a third option.

So basically you keep choosing crazy people to meet?

Have met several. It's been good and we keep in touch. Some of their pictures were off a bit, which was irritating, and only one guy managed to hide that he was hugely obese, and had no front teeth... That was gross.

Unfortunately, it seems I'm to far out from Dallas for most of it.

Have made a lot of online friends, who I enjoy, and hope to meet one day.

The coolest thing though is a fellow I met who apparently grew up in a town up in Michigan that I lived near by to. "It's a smll world" keeps bopping through my head, kinda trippy and cool. We're supposed to meet sometime this week. He plays the bagpipes and wears a kilt, so I'm having much fun in my head, LOL!

Will have to remember to snap photos. I'm not good about that.

I usually forget to take pictures, too! Especially if I'm having a good time. I remembered this time, though.

I have met good and bad.. no one I believe more than once tho..

I like when they are mature enough to understand that there is no guarantee we will fall in love that first day.. I have met some good people.. Even if it was to hang out and enjoy the conversation, friends is sometimes just as good :)

I have also met some who are single for obvious reasons, yet, are they single because they are so bitter, or are they so bitter because they are single?

One man was so horrible (cliffnotes version) I left him in the parking lot and called the waiter who assisted us that night to apologize.
Another, barely even spoke to me, but gave me a play by play of every little thing that happened on the sports game on the tv behind me..
the thing is.. they were good looking guys, but it doesn't matter if there are bad attitudes.. good conversation is the key for me..

But some have been awesome.. one guy rented a campsite for a few hours just so we can sit and talk and make hot dogs and marshmallows. :) another gave me a new thoughts on 'the boards' :)

I have made a couple of great friends and we have met and gone dancing. It was a blast. My friends I met here are tgnxl65 and hereformore. Just spent some time with them this past Friday. It is always fun to be with them. Oh, and Impalaguy is an old friend from high school. He joined after I raved about the forums and this site. He joined hereformore and I on Saturday night when we were out and about.

I havent met anybody:(
