*sigh* I would follow Peter Jackson to the ends of the earth. I can't wait to see it. On a side note: "Ponyo" is the cutest thing ever and everyone should go see it too.

It looks interesting, even though I think Peter Jackson is a hack. I'm more excited about 'Inglorius Basterds'. Quentin Tarentino is a far better director than Jackson. I know Jackson only produced 'District 9'. Jackson never deserved to win a Best Director Oscar for a silly LOTR movie, and his remake of "King Kong' was awful. Skip Jacksons 'Kong'
and watch the original. be seeing you |

The two douchebags on "At the movies" say it is the greatest sci-fi ever.Ungh....the story is weak, unbeleivable and has gaping holes in it.The special effects are not any better than "Independence day".

This movie was great, gotta love peter jackson flicks but the thing is nobody truly knows of Peter jacksons B-rated flicks Such as meet the feebles and deadalive and badtaste, those movies are some of the best movies and are highly under rated by many but too me there classics and original like district 9 was a great movie but peter jacksons career stemed from gory b-rated flicks that were just great.
On the 1-10 scale i rate district 9 at a 8.5 great movie, good gore effects(like many of peter jacksons b-rated flicks) story was good but the end left me wondering somethings that kept it from getting a 10. And too the people that know peter jackson for this movie and the LOTR series, i would def take the time and see the B-rated movies i listed above to truly be a peter jackson fan. Oh yea frightners was good but nothin to special from peter. |

But I agree- Bad Taste, Meet The Feebles, and Dead Alive(though the original title is Brain Dead) are all great. Peter Jackson's Heavenly Creatures is an incredible film. And his Forgotten Silver is brilliant. |

I thought it was really good. A lot of people had a hard time with the way it was shot but I really enjoyed that. The Saffa's also made me very happy. The way they set it up was great and I thought it was directed very well. I'm looking forward to a sequel.

I puked my guts up later that evening. Come to find out no one warned of the fracking jerky camera crap, and I tripped into a raging, puking migraine. Lovely.
It would have been a whole lot better if they're just filmed it regular-like. It was okay, the Prawns were interesting, but I want my 5 bucks back thank you! |

My 15 year old saw it...I asked what it was about, she stated...
"It's an allegory of the United States current immigration problems".... What are they teaching that kid at her school???? |
