If you came up to me at a party or anywhere with, "Hi. You're so petite. Great smile." I would be polite as I inched myself 25 feet away from you. But, if you said something relevant and believable such as, "I saw how you tap danced across the foyer when you came in and that was wild!" OR "I have never seen anyone toss an olive in the air and catch it with a toothpick in their teeth like you did. Care to dance?" That just beats the heck out of, "Your nose is bitchen. I'm Ted" You really are very funny! That is a sincere compliment btw. |

Dagnabbit, Jess! Don't put me in the middle of this! I will be turning 48 this Friday & consider myself nothing more & nothing less than awesome! Middle-aged is a state of mind, IMO...
I've hung out & talked with Ray on the phone on several occasions & found him to be personable & entertaining (he plays a mean steel guitar)...& even a lil quiet at times. Of course, "I" have great self-esteem...  ...so, I doubt that I'M one of the "middle-aged" women he's referring to!
Does his profile make him appear to be a lil brash? Yep! And I've told him that myself... Is this a thread that is gonna ruffle the feathers of some "middle-aged" women (like his last "popular" thread)? Undoubtedly! But hey! At least it's not another "nice guy" thread...!
