Thank you so much for posting that Bonny Miss. It is stimulating to learn these new things. I didnt even know that there was a Chihuahua Mexico, I just thought it was a funny Mexican name for a small dog. Hee NEAT! Gods creation.. that rules. That small dog always springs to mind whenever I hear the name of this place. |

Bonny? You don't swim? We gotta fix that!
What is kind of odd...the Mexican state of Chihuahua ain't known for its chihuahua dogs...(among the Mexicans)...it is know for it's men being exceptionally virile and romantic.....(just what I heard) |

Salar de Uyuni, Bolivia
The world’s largest salt flat, measuring just over 4,000 square miles, Salar de Uyuni is the remnants of a giant prehistoric lake near the Andes. More than 25 times larger than the famous Bonneville Salt Flats in the US, Salar de Uyuni contains more than 10 billion tons of salt, of which just 25,000 tons are extracted annually. It also holds half the world’s stock of Lithium. Just an extra info something to think about. A little conspiracy theory for you. Lithium salt is crucial to make batteries. Ever since they tried to go with going electic with the cars, Bolivia was undermined several times by an 'economic hitman' from USA. USA wants the lithium salt no matter what, but the Bolivian government wants to do a fair trade by making a trade agreement, just like any other country would. US based corporations and politicans don't like that, they'd rather assasinate or destabilize the Bolivian government and take the lithium as they please. Notice how they suddenly don't really talk about and neither hear about anything of the "going electic" idea? Well, because they couldn't get what they wanted. read this: http://news.xinhuanet.com/english/2009-08/08/content_11846896.htm |
