I would not ***-u-me that the politician is afraid of anything, As for Obama considering his time in office 6 months he has done good things. He cannot fix all that is wrong in this country in his time in office but he is sure trying to help it. Universal Health care should be and can be done in this country. People need to realize that there are forces at work that do not want it and will say anything to stop it from happening. But that doesn't stop the fact that we are fully capable of having it here and making it work here. Let me ask... What good is health care if you can't afford to eat... Cause you ain't got a job... So then another trillion in debt cause... Then they will be pounding home... Government must feed the people it is an entitlement... (quick vote on this 'feed the people' bill - you only have a few hours to read the 2000 pages). We, as a nation, can not afford this... and expect our grandchildren to pay for it. Kinda backwards if you ask me.

People have lost their job through not fault of their owns during the Bush administration and those who are still loosing their job, would you deny them the option to get health care they CAN afford through the government? If you would then what you are saying is I Have Mine, the heck with you... So you are the party of 'We Can't'? I say were are America and we absolutely can. |

But being an american I also see that RIGHT NOW is not the time... For to be spending moneys that we have not earned... Borrowing moneys when we have massive debt... will surely bring us down... IF WE ALLOW IT. Would you be willing to wait 4 years if that would mean a stable and working health care for all? What good will said health care be if the government that is supposed to be running it is BANKRUPT. You spoke in harsh manner at the 'debtor' nation yet you wish to increase the debt? I have no understanding of this notion. IT is or IT is NOT. |

We won't have another chance other than now in my opinion. Would I wait 4 years if I knew that both sides supported it. YES I do not believe we will go bankrupt, there are too many with a vested interest in seeing America survive. I never for one moment ever thought that we as a people could not get through this. I knew we would survive Bush as well, and we did, despite the mess he made of things. If increasing the debt is what will get us out of this fix, then yes. |

What matters is what it looks like to the rest of us... If he actually held a face to face he might find respect in return... (do not judge how I would be based on some other persons actions). |
