I had an old feather pillow. I LOVED that pillow.
It was really old and beat to hell. Thing weighed about 15 pounds. Yeah...ummm...I wasn't allowed to use it in pillow fights after I gave my cousin a concussion....lmao |

It had been soaked with motor oil....washed...gotten wet again...washed... The feathers were all packed together. |

Perhaps. It did take her a while ( 5 years or so ) to finally get rid of it. She came home from the tore with a new pillow and said " Here. That old thing goes in the trash. " I couldn't sleep for a week...lol |

I HATE it when those down feathers get in my nose and stuff.
Besides- I've always been more of a "memory foam" kind of dude anyway. |

I remember my Grandmother's pillows. Was nice to sleep on. No stiff neck.

I have 2 big fluffy feather pillows on my bed. I do not use them, I use the regular kind to sleep on b/c the feather ones are too high, hurts my neck.
My little doggie loves to sleep on top of those feather pillows.
