2 days ago I had to have my beautiful female seal point himalayan put down.I don't want another himi, and like something with a bobcat look. Which is better an american bobtail....or pixie bob?

Simple. Better is the one you prefer.
Follow your heart. And if that fails, choose the cheapest. |

My daughter has a Maine Coon. Big cat. The personality and temperament is really cool. She is 2 yrs old. She also has a Rag Doll. She is about 5-7 yrs. old.

I've had 3 Manx in the past...the only issue I noticed was one of them was always constipated... Their hind legs are usually bigger than regular cats...hence, they look like they're walking downhill all the time... Rodger's hind legs were so large that it tilted his pelvis which caused the constipation problem...& he had to hop rather than walk...
I always advise getting pets from an animal shelter...you'll be saving a life...& will receive a lifetime of love in return... |

Good cats, but can get expensive. I'll second the save a shelter cat. One of mine was and he's a hoot. Rescued at 8 wks from the vet/shelter, and thinks he's a dog. The other cats I've had have always been strays, even the apple-dome Siamese. Now THERE'S a cat with attitude. I've always enjoyed who and what showed up. LOL! |
