Topic: How many of you listen to internet radio in lew of a local s | |
---|---|
I've gotten to where I listen to internet radio, when I'm on the net...letting it play in the background.
There are so many different stations, with many different listening pleasures. I don't even listen to local anymore. What about you? |

I've gotten to where I listen to internet radio, when I'm on the net...letting it play in the background. There are so many different stations, with many different listening pleasures. I don't even listen to local anymore. What about you? I have found that a lot of the internet radio stations that play the kind of stuff I like are pretty much like on air stations anyway. A song here or there that I like, surrounded by a couple of hours of complete dreck that shouldn't have made it to any kind of radio station. |

XM guy here.
I get where you're going with this. I find most local stations just don't trip my trigger. And people who say they like listening to 60's & 70's rock, I have to ask, after hearing "Walk This Way" for the 4000th time, when is enough, enough? There is usually 1 local station I will listen to when not in my car. I DVR a music/video channel off of u-verse for other music. If I do listen to online music it usually will be you tube & I get to call the shots. It avoids the "dreck". |

Well...I am always open to hearing new stuff because you never know when you'll run across something you like. But, I haven't heard a whole lot of stuff that I actually like recently. |

Try some of these: Matt Nathanson, Colbie Calliat, Plain White T's. The Coors have some great music. I'll try did up some others for you. |
