do you think its bad that i go out sometimes in my dress blues and get discounts, maybe something free once in a while, like last night i ate at the cheesecake factory and some person bought me a slice of cake.I mean i dont do this every week,maybe once a month or so.also alot of people come up to me and they thank me for my service and what-not,is it so wrong to want to do this every once in a while?

IMHO, government armies are morally wrong, and what you did doesn't fit with rational ethics. (I'll get into rational ethics some other day, and leave it at that for now)

The least we could do for those serving our country is buy them a piece of cake. I have nothing but respect for those that protect us...it's a job I know I couldn't do, so I am very thankful for those than can!
