It depends on what your looking for. The great thing about meeting online is how much control "you do have" with other people. The down side is the honesty factor on both sides. All you can do is be honest, be yourself and be patient. Everyone out there has things about themself they are not happy with. Just take the time to get to know people and keep an open mind. And when swimming in the ocean, always beware of sharks. <wink wink> There might be a reason someone wants to rush. Don't be bait. I hope it works great for you.

Exactly, thats where im trying to come from here, because i've met girls before outside of the mingle world, and its seemed to go alot slower, sometimes in a good fashion but other times too slow. But here online, you actually get the chance to get to know someone a little, mainly just their thoughts though you dont get much personality out of their typing, although sarcasm is a sure show with a simple lol, but does that really tell you who a person is? Would it be better to see the actual laugh over dinner? I dunno I guess im just lost in the whole dating scene, maybe I just need to let things come to me instead of trying so hard.

Dude, I totally understand that, too. If you don't see their expression and their emotion, then you can't see if it's even genuine. In person is the best when talking with women.
