The Chinese government has agreed to pay $3bn (£1.5bn) for a 10% stake
in US private equity company Blackstone. The move will give Blackstone a head start in Chinese takeover deals and allow China's government to tap into the global private equity boom. The news, which is likely to create some political opposition in the US, comes just days before Chinese Vice Premier Wu Yi visits America. China is buying the stake through its newly formed state investment fund. "For both China and Blackstone, it's about enhancing access and developing deeper relationships," said analyst Monte Brem, chief executive of advisory firm Leucadia Capital Partners. "The Chinese government wants to increase its access and role in the global private equity market; Blackstone wants to increase its access and role in China ----- The Chinese are the next country to take over the world ... All they need to do is control the finance centres and they will do it by default. Bring on the Cold Fried Rice War pt2 |

$3bn for a 10% stake???? 10% as in one tenth??????????
That sounds scary. This group in itself having so much money power already. I wonder in which parts of the world they have their noses already, and then to think that they bring the Chinese there as well, like little Trojan horses on the computer. Scary???? I think it's too soft a word. |

What's 3 billion, when you are nearly 9 TRILLION dollars in the hole?
Makes sense...sell off as much as you can, to worm your way in, as much as you can, and the flip side, buy in as much as you can, so you can take over. One country has a way bigger money spinner, and has been supplying cheap materials and consumables for so long, we get a shock if it says, 'made in country you are standing in'. Fried rice? hmmm......... egg noodles are more my fancy. |

When you have a population that is so controlled, it is easy to
manipulate them openly. When the Chinese govt makes a move, the move is backed by one fifth of the world's population ... that is a lot of people to speak of. |
