Topic: Almost Honest | |

I had that happen to me. I was dating a guy, everything was going well. AFTER we slept together quite a few times, he told me it wasn't going anywhere.
REALLY??? You didn't know this after the first or second time? Or even before???? |

Here is another theory I have.... (and I know its one-sided, don't jump on me, it could go both ways!] If a guy would just be up front to whether he was just looking for a roll in the sack or something more.... there would still be women willing to just have the roll in the sack. And it would spare hurting those that aren't. there is always that woman who thinks after she beds him, he will change his ways and change his mind. |

Finally someone that agrees with me. When I discuss this with a guy the response I get are... 'that won't ever happen.' |

When one is honest they get angry about honesty When one is dishonest they get angry about dishonesty When one is a politician they get angry about slyness When one is not committed they get angry about everything When one is following priorities they get angry being second choice What is one to do Be totally comical |

You didn't know this after the first or second time? Or even before???? Yeah... if it was a sexually chemistry thing... then that should have been discovered and discussed after a couple times! |

Because men think they have to lie into making a girl think he wants a relationship so she'll sleep with him. Maybe just MAYBE she is wanting the same thing he is.. sex! |

Do to her misconceptions and not being honest with herself... it is her problem than if she is hurt! |

Well, it is part of social norms to be polite, which requires dishonesty. If someone asks you "am i fat?" how often do they truly want to hear, "yes you look like shamuu?" As such, people try to be polite, and sometimes too much so; othertimes, it's because they are selfish. either way, honesty is not always the best policy ( and i have often found this to be true for those who always say they want an honest response).

How rude is it to say 'you look like shamuu'?!? However, it is more appropriate to say, it's not your best outfit or I like this one better or yes, you look a little fat in this area. Or saying 'do you really want my opinion on this?' Dishonesty or sugar-coating happens in life to spare feelings. Sometimes it is better to keep your mouth shut or not do something if you can't be honest about it. But being dishonesty when in regards to sex, not cool. Or playing with someone's emotions by being dishonest... really not cool. |
