This is what our Mingle2 readers will be enjoying in the first issue.
((The Green Dragon's Tavern)) A magazine that requires you to get a hot cocoa and relax enjoying the topics of medieval fantasy. 1. Medieval Joke 2. Medieval or Fantasy quote 3. Medieval or Fantasy poem 4. Fantasy art 5. Fantasy board game of the month - Like Talisman for example 6. Fantasy card game of the month 7. Folklore Tale - old tale told at campsites (2-3 pages long max) 8. Medieval Riddle (answer in the next issue) 9. Bard's song with link 10. Fantasy crossword puzzle of the month 11. A fantasy movie review 12. Medieval recipe of the month /includes a bakery item 13. Fantasy computer game of the month 14. Fantasy (Dos) game /old school 15. Sacred Woods of Silvernarion /1 chapter 16. Additional authors story section 17. Fantasy card collector image collection 18. Fantasy cartoon review 19. Fantasy Horoscope of the month (not greek,roman,chinese, or native american) - a actual fantasy lord of the rings reading. 20. Fantasy map of the month 21. Medieval word of the month - with explanation 22. Fantasy Spell of the month with history 23. Fantasy medieval item of the month with history 24. Fantasy/medieval event page - links to events around the world 25. Fantasy news - How to take a news article and transform it into a fantasy story for fun. 26. Fiction writer tip - tips to become a better fiction writer 27. Fantasy star transformed - here I take a superstar and transform his or her face into a fantasy creature for laughs. 28. True or False Fantasy quiz question 29. Fantasy God/Goddess Mythology section 30. Fantasy MMPORG free game section review 31. Fantasy question of the day for Mingle2 to answer. Best answer vote goes in the next issue magazine. 32. Fantasy website information with brief descriptions. In between these 31 sections I will put occassional Mingle2 members who offered themselves to be transformed into a fantastic fantasy creature to read up on for fun. They each will get a page describing their interests and contact information. |

So the magazine will be like a small book actually
A good 70 pages I can imagine with whole bunch of illustrations, photos, etc. etc. Thank goodness it is a monthly issue, although I could do every two weeks if I get good at it. The main thing is that it is entertaining. |
