I had a similar experience. He was off the site for about a week, even deleted his pic, and I was starting to think maybe I had gone too far... but then just today he messaged me again. I dunno how anything would go with him, if anything, but it WAS nice to see I hadn't run him off.
I didn't read the followup, of course, but I hope the same can be said for you! |

It's too late for me to look like an arsehole, so I'll go for it with gusto. If you call him the next day it makes you appear needy. That may be wrong, but unfortunately, that is the status quo. To quote Jim Morrison ," I need someone, yeah, who doesn't need me." This is a twisted way to view life, but unfortunately this seems to be true in most cases. If it doesn't work out, however, don't let it get you down. If you weren't so far out of my league, I would be making my finest attempts to woo you myself, along with just about everyother guy on this site. Keep your head up, and you'll find someone who deserves you in no time.

At my age , I don't worry about it.. If I see something I want I just go for it.. I feel I have a lot to offer so it's his loss if he's not interested..

YES, you hit the nail on the head, great swing. Go after what you want, if it runs away, whack in the head to slow it down, if its hard headed, whack it again. If the stick breaks, then get a new stick and wait for the next one. LOL. Just kidding, don't hit anyone with a stick.. metal bats are better. Your right though, if they dont like it, its their loss. Just dont stalk them. |

I take my previous statement back. In retrospect, I can't see a problem with telling them you had a fantastic time, and would like to do it again sometime. This guy may have been torturing himself the same way that you were torturing yourself this whole time.
And while you've probably had more experience with dating than I have, I will say this, this is not a cure for shyness, but a guarantee for a overinflated ego; beware. Maybe start by saying that you really think he's sweet and would really like to get to know him better. But then again, what is it excactly that I know. Good Luck. Scott. |

I do that all the time; a guy stops talking to me, and I'm like dammit, I ran him off! Now I know I just go after guys who have serious issues, so it's not really my fault when it goes to hell. Glad he messaged you again though. |
