We are in a sad state of affairs people. The government has decided for
US that ammesty would be the natural thing. Ok let's just open all the
prisons and let everyone out into the sunshine and let them do what
ever! Our system of justice has been thrown out by our self supporting
goverment and the only ones who pay their salaries is big oil, & foriegn
governments. The legal tax paying citizens have been throw aside when it
comes to being counted and we are a nation of dwindling idiots who's
vote does not count and are just as stupid as the mexican and iranian
governments say. We are a population of indiviuals who cannot think or
vote, and our rights are a thing of the past. Unless you are a minority
you do not count for anything. We only sacrifice our lives in a
unpopular war and give until we have nothing left. My question is, how
long until the population of unthinking idiots and legal taxpayers rise
up and say enough is enough! Now before any one calls me a revolutionary
who avocate the overthrow of our government I say to you speak up and
vote these uless bums out. Stand up for our rights. Why can't we march
against illegal criminal invaders and queer rights amendemnts. Why don't
we have a say in our government? Because no one wants to rock the boat.
Well people the damn boat is sinking and very few are bailing!

hmmmmm...............

WTF does marching for 'queer rights' admendment have to do with amnesty
for illegal immigrants? I'd take a bullet for them as same as you. WTF
do you care what people are doing in their bedrooms? Its got nothing to
do with anytig, you dont agree with the life style, good got it, dont
date men then.

You are right though about the rights of Americans being pushed aside,
minority or majority doesnt matter its all the same. Some up on the hill
have decided that the world has more of a right to America than does its
citizenary and brother thats got to change. When we start talking about
taking care of our own first we get lambasted for being greedy, yet
those same people who call us greedy are the ones who say America
shouldnt act like the world policeman. Well- which freakin one is it,
make up your damn minds already Im getting vertigo!

The world doesnt want our help in finding out better ways of helping
drought ridden famon infested places like africa, then well all we can
do is say we tried and dont push the issue. The resourcs saved from that
can be put into use on fixing the problems in America, the education
system, socioeconomic problems, tax relief for all citizens, government
accountablity, regulatory reform, campaigne finance reform, health care/
prescription drug care, welfare reform. the list IS endless of the
possiblities, but the desire to get away from the everyone is a victim
mentality, and the stupidity of political correctness has got to be the
first things that people change from within themselves if you ever want
to take control of the legislative branch of government. And Oh by the
way it wouldnt hurt to appoint judges that dont try to legislate from
the bench, they are the judiciary not the congress. Enforce current laws
and stop flooding the country with meaningless legislation that doesnt
do any good except for the pork barrel spending admendments that are
attached to them, theuve turned into spending bills.

ok im preaching to the chior, and all because of a stupid bill that will
never do any good to the people of america.

Many are here legally. Remember when you had a green card? Maybe you can
round them all up for us and check their credentials? Don't be a racist.
We have enough of that here. Try to be a part of the solutin rather than
the problem, friend.drinker

Doc, you got it right. There is just one problem, there are way too
many causes to be supported by the 'little poeple'.

When we discuss the major issues of those who live in poverty in this
world, you must think in numbers. Those numbers far outrank the numbers
of those who would be in a postion to offer assistance. That means that
financially speaking, the kinds of acts that would be required to help
in some economical and lasting way, falls upon the vast resources that
can only be at the disposal of the major governments of this world.

Even if, there were enough American citizens willing to demand the kinds
of changes in our "government" spending that could be re-routed to
extricate, with long lasting effects, some poverty ridden society from
their lot, it is but one society. We are only one country. The numbers
of those we could help would be limited.

In the mean time, we can not even get our government to listen to and
change the issues that affect it's citizens here, now.

In this world, in this reality, we can not just protest the things we
see that are in the wrong. We must offer a suggestion as to how to
accomedate the change we would like to see occur.

At this moment there are so many issues within this government that keep
us, American Citizens, from pondering these huge issues as one voice
that we must first see to our own backyard.

We must first make the laws that bind our society, equal for all within
it. We talk of the poverty of other countries, what about that which
exists in our own?

One can create a magnificent work of art using small dots of color.
But without the color the art is nothing, without all the dots in place
the true nature of the piece can never be realized.
We must first see that all the dots in this country are given equal
voice.

It is then that we can raise that voice with one purpose. We should be
the government, yet we fight IT as if it is a seperate piece of our
picture. We fight IT, to gain our voice.

How can we ever give more to the world than we would give to the poeple
who live next door?

And I might add, that in the meantime, we, the American people

red you have gained a fan. i agree with a lot of what you say. your
metaphor was a unique way of stating the obvius, think i might plagerize
that some day.

we the people need to forget that the government is what it is and
remind them in the government that they work foor us.

there is a shlt ton of things that need to be accomplished and i agree
with you that most cant grasp the enormity of it all.

start small finish something to completion then start on the next bigger
issue.

first, in dealing with america not the world, we need to fix our own,
then we can concentrate on the rest, if they want it.

i dont have the time to give this post all the attention it deserves, so
let me stop here before going off half c0cked about it and confusing the
matter or making it seem foolish with my inarticulation.

Its so good to see that the understanding of some people extends to
others.

As a European, I have a very good understanding of the persecution that
was prevalent in Eastern Europe before the wall came down.

I was in Germany 3 months after it came down. It was a beautiful thing
to see. The Eastern & Western Germans reexploring their own country.

So, when I hear an Eastern European saying that all illegals from Mexico
be deported, I would ask that he think for one moment on
1) why he wants to bring his family to the US
2) what would have happened if the US had said no to his application?
3) Why doesnt he go back to Hungary if he doesnt like the US?

Ive never been to Hungary, but having lived in Poland immediately after
the wall came down, I can imagine the brightening of Hungarian spirits
when the yoke of communism was released.

gary - my life as american is good to

So, why complain about it?

- most Americans are rude,
- freedom of speech is a joke
- using the words scum and illegal Mexicans in the same phrase ...

Instead of complaining about it, why not learn a little tolerance?

You came from a country that didnt have the same social freedoms as you
have now ...

One can always just put a sock on each hand, push a little dimple in the
palm, making a 'mouth', and talk to one-self for hours. Its better if
you use a different voice for each sock puppet.
