I am a 30 something divorced female that is looking to get back into the dating scene.. The rules have changed and I need help..
At what point to you lay your cards out on the table about what you are looking for (casual or long term.. kids or no kids).. I know you dont on the 1st few dates but I dont want to play games and waste anyones time.. |

Dating is not a waste of time.....I find it a very fulfilling use of it...

I did not mean to imply that dating is a waste of time .. What I am refering to is do you want to spend 2 yrs with someone only to find out that you are not on the same page as far as anything longterm

Would think those things would happen natural during normal conversation. Don't think you have to schedule or pencil them in anywhere.
As you get to know a person you know when the time is right  good luck

I was dating someone for two months. We got along great, had everything in common, never argued and everything was perfect. So we had a discussion, it was mutual. And it just didn't work out and it didn't go the way everyone, including me thought it would.
There is no right or wrong time, unless of course you start asking after the first date. |

You know, as much as I would like to be dating, I don't get to very often. I would like to know what it takes to be just asked out by someone who isn't a drunk or a stoner, and whose IQ is higher than his shoe size.
I would suppose that the answer to your question is going to depend based on personality and how serious you intend to be with him. Is the chemistry there? Has he mentioned any plans or goals? Etc. |
