I have seen a few episodes and I like it. My son is reading all the books now... I think he said there are like 8 or 9 in the series so far.

i've only seen a few episodes. so far i dont like the show. i'm a major charlaine harris fan and to me the shows writers are taking to many liberties with the storyline. i'll stick with the books.

That unfortunately tends to happen when a story goes from book to film. I just look at the 2 as totally different mediums an enjoy them both for what they are. I've yet to read the books. I do plan on startin soon. |

I was waiting on Jason to goof up...I still want to know if the Brunette controlling everyone is the minotaur that ripped apart Sookie..hate that name by the way....The cast and characters,amazing....Its such a smart show while you wait on the next one..I love Weeds and Entourage but a half an hour is the worst tease and without BigLove...I am stuck worrying about Sookie

they did pick the perfect actress to play sookie. anna paquin was my pick for the part when i started reading the series 5 years ago. i knew that someone would turn it into a t.v. show. i'm just a purist. the books are entertaining as they are. no need to alter the storyline.
