I watch PIMP YOUR RIDE with Xzibit and would like 2 know if its a fake tv show.i ask this because some of the cars on the show are right death traps, wot i call in the uk "A SHED" and if some of these cars were to be on our roads the police here in the uk would send them straight 2 the scrapyard...so has anybody in the states ever seen any off the finished cars or had mates who have had their car PIMPED..

"wings" must mean something very different over there. here it would indicate we have tiny planes zipping around. ha. as far as lights go, the laws are often extremely strict on them. if they remove or cover the factory lights they must have new ones installed that are DOT (department of transportation) approved. many may be hidden and only seen when illuminated.
the US has some of the tightest vehicle regulations in the world. it adds a lot of cost to importing cars. when gm brings a vehicle to the US market from holden, their austrailian division, it ends up heavier and uglier. and that show is idiotic. i wouldn't drive half that crap if you paid me. |

ah yes. most states are very strict on fenders, or at least the wheelwell section of them, so that tires aren't flinging water and possible road debris on other drivers. lol. yeah, they're just giant toy cars now. i was born a few decades too late. i love the old muscle cars and it would be cool to drive them when they were brand new. today's cars have no steering or brake feel and it's more like playing a video game than driving. i like to feel road, hear the roar of the engine while it's cranking out 500lbft of torque |
