....but why don't more people have pictures of them SMILING in their profiles??? I mean, I have looked at quite a few profiles recently and the vast majority of them, along with saying the exact same things, all have one thing in common. ALL THE PEOPLE LOOK LIKE THEY ARE PISSED!!!! WTF people??? Are ya mad because you are having to resort to being on a dating site?? Do you hate your life that much??? Do you not realize that one of the major things that will attract a man or woman is a decent smile?? As Joker said in The Dark Knight.... Why so serious??? I know...I know....it's their choice. Fine. But I know one thing for certain. When I see a profile that has pictures of someone who looks like they are completely pissed or just utterly bored...I simply take a quick look at what they have to say, and then click next. Think about it. A profile that says they are looking for someone with a sense of humor, but shows no pictures of the person with a smile on their face just seems a bit silly. Have some fun with it for cryin out loud. Put in a picture of yourself when you were just goofing for the camera. Put up one where the person taking the pic caught you by surprise. Show everyone that you have a lighter side..IF you actually DO have a lighter side. Some of the pics in my profile don't show me showin' my pearly yellows because they were taken while I was on the job and rather burned out at the time. My line of work is stressful enough at times so that I can't even muster a smile, as that would be way too much effort. |
